Cover Design

A freelance job: Cover Design. In English, the title of the book is Holy Warrior. The specifications for this particular project were along the lines of "A man standing on the shore, looking across a lake at an ominous castle in the moonlight. Mysterious tone."

Letting Go

I saw this guy in the Vancouver library totally immersed in books from the war. I decided to try tone it up a bit, got carried away and then lost interest. This is the result.

Another one from BC!

I loved sketching in Whistler, the mountain bikers are just a lot of fun to caricature. I did this quick pen sketch a couple months ago and I finally got around to doing a speed paint on photoshop. The goal was to keep the paint looking as rough and energetic as the original line work.

...And speaking of Whistler

I spent a few weekends in Whistler visiting my girlfriend, Christine. She works at ziptrek, which is a ziplining/eco-tour company - lotsa fun. Often times her job requires her to pull in heavy folks on the lines...and there's lots of bears out there. So for some reason i came up with this. It also gave me a chance to mess around with a different style.
